Pickle 101
Crack the jars. Number the spears. Crown the big dill.
A complete pickle tasting party: 12 real pickles in three tiers from grocery classics to fermented, half-sour and cornichon picks, the Pickle-Off blind tasting game, a build-your-own pickle board, eight party batches and 20 snacks, pickles and sips, with allergy and food safety notes.
1 / 14 · The kit
Pickle 101 turns a few jars into a real tasting. Taste kosher dill, refrigerated, bread and butter, spicy, fermented and half-sour pickles side by side, play the Pickle-Off by scoring four blind spears for crunch, sour and garlic and guessing the brand, set out a pickle board, and make fried pickles or fridge pickles for a crowd. Every fact is checked, quick pickles are written as refrigerator pickles, and the two adult drinks are clearly marked 21+.
